Pink Lady

1.5 oz. London dry gin
1/2 oz. apple brandy or applejack
1/2 oz. lemon juice
1/2 oz. grenadine
1 egg white

Combine all ingredients in an empty shaker tin and shake until the egg white is frothy. Be careful, as pressure builds up in the shaker during this step. Add a large chunk of ice as well as cubes and shake until very well chilled. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
