Jungle Bird

1.5 oz. dark rum
3/4 oz. Campari
1.5 oz. pineapple juice
1/2 oz. lime juice
1/2 oz. rich simple syrup (2:1)
Maraschino cherry, for garnish

Combine all liquid ingredients in a shaker filled with ice and shake until well-chilled. Strain into an old fashioned glass with crushed ice. Garnish with a pineapple frond and the cherry.
